Texas Family Vacations

One of the most popular destinations in Texas is the city of Dallas, and for good reason. Here you can take in a wide variety of attractions you won’t find anywhere else. Check out the Women’s Museum, a national center for research and commemorating the contributions that women have made to the United States. The International Museum of Cultures is another interesting stop, highlighting different cultures from around the world and the specific problems that beset them. San Antonio is a fantastic historic destination. Here you can see the famous Alamo, where Texans defended against the Mexican General Santa Anna. At the beautiful San Antonio Botanical Gardens, you can walk the Native Texas Trail and see some of Texas’s native ecosystems as they would appear in nature. Another family-friendly city destination is Houston. Check out Broadway in Houston, where you can see some of the hottest touring plays right off of New York’s Broadway.
