Next, take in the sights and sounds of Bismarck, North Dakota’s capitol. See over 125 species of animals in the Dakota Zoo. Then check out the North Dakota Game and Fish Lobby Wildlife Museum to see exhibits profiling North Dakota’s wildlife. Fore more animal fun, visit the Aquarium to see North Dakota’s native fish.

For an educational outing, head over to the Theodore Roosevelt Rough Rider Hall of Fame to learn about North Dakota natives who brought honor to their state. Then tour Gateway to Science, North Dakota’s only hands-on science center, which includes a large variety of exhibits and activities to keep everyone entertained.

For an outdoor adventure, explore the Dakota Prairie Grasslands, which encompass over 1,295,000 acres and include many national and state parks. The Grasslands include everything from the Badlands scenery of the Little Missouri National Park to the rolling hills and tall grass prairies of the Sheyenne National Grasslands. You may also head to the Theodore Roosevelt National Park, take a drive down the Enchanted Highway to see the World’s Largest Metal Sculptures, or head to the Raging Rivers Waterpark and Speedworld Golf and Games.
