New York Family Vacations

Alabama - Georgia |  Hawaii - Maryland
Massachusetts - New Jersey |  New Mexico - South Carolina
South Dakota - Wyoming

New YorkNew York has something to offer the whole family. Besides the great New York City, the state is full of amazing destinations for your family.

The first stop on your list should be the Big Apple itself. You could easily spend your entire trip within the city. Beyond New York City, discover New York’s other worthy attractions. Visit the United Nations building for a tour of the headquarters of international politics. The Rockefeller Center, home to the Radio City Music Hall, NBC studios, and plenty of artwork, will keep your family entertained.

For more adventure, head to the Astroland Amusement Park and take a spin on the Cyclone, or watch a sporting event at the Madison Square Garden. Don’t miss the beautiful scenery of New York’s Central Park. Head north into the Adirondack Mountains and check out the Adirondack Museum, which overlooks the beautiful Blue Mountain Lake.

There is so much more to do in New York! Visit the historic city of Buffalo for its culture and art. Tour some of the homes designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, one of America’s most famous architects. For a taste of the arts, head to Shea’s Performing Arts Center or the Albright-Knox Art Gallery. A New York trip is also an opportunity to see the famous Niagara Falls, only 25 miles away from the Buffalo/Niagara International Airport.

No New York vacation would be complete without a trip to the state’s heart, Syracuse. Be taken in by the great history of this city. See pieces of this history in the Erie Canal Museum. Tour the Milton J. Rubenstein Museum of Science and Technology, and then take in a movie at New York’s only IMAX theatre.
