National Parks vacations can be a truly amazing experience.
Imagine what our nation must have looked like only a few hundred years ago, pristine lakes
and streams, forest-covered mountains, abundant wildlife. When we look around at the
world we live in, this type of scene may seem only like a dream. But in reality,
these scenes do exist in America's National Parks.
A little over a century ago, our national leaders saw the wisdom in setting aside some of the most spectacular lands in our country. Great men like conservationist John Muir and President Teddy Roosevelt worked together to set apart great tracts of land so that we and future generations can enjoy them. Today, we enjoy them as our National Parks.
National Parks Vacations to the more widely known of our National Parks like Yellowstone (Wyoming, Idaho, & Montana), Yosemite (California), and the Grand Canyon (Arizona) are very fulfilling. Each year, thousands of families pass through the gates of these three parks alone, and millions more visit the other parks as well.

In each of these locations, you may find a world that looks like it did a few centuries ago. You can experience an important historical event, see spectacular scenery, visit an important battlefield, or experience a wide array of things that our National Park system was founded to preserve for us.
