Mexico Vacations

Vacations to Mexico More and more families are choosing to vacation in Mexico.

This enchanted land is full of new discoveries and exciting places to see. Many families go to visit our neighbors to the south for the relaxing beaches and resorts. And, there are plenty of beaches and resorts to please most any taste.

The eastern side of the country has a few, very popular resort areas. The first of which is Cancun. This vacation hot spot is teeming with activity for several months out of the year. Located on the northeast shores of the Yucatan, Cancun has always been a popular place to vacation, especially during the springtime, when masses of college students "take over" the region.

Cozumel is an Island located off of the Yucatan Coast which is growing in popularity. Many cruises make a stop at this shopping paradise. Many good deals are to be found as shop owners are eager to deal with vacationers.

Continuing in the southern part of Mexico, you will find numerous ancient ruins, like Tulum or Chitzen Itza. The later of the two is perhaps the most famous of the Myan Ruins and sees thousands of visitors each month. Tulum is located along the shores of the Pacific Ocean in perhaps the scenic setting of any of the ruins. Family eco tourism is also very popular in the southern regions of Mexico.

The Pacific side of Mexico has even more great destinations to consider for a family vacation. Acapulco, is a can't miss resort area filled with great shopping, modern hotels, and wonderful beaches. If you are looking for a destination that is a little more quiet, try Mazatan or Puerto Vallerta. Both of these have beautiful beaches, deep sea fishing opportunities, and shopping. Though not as popular as Acapulco, both are great choices for Mexico family vacations. A final place to consider is Los Cabos. This wonderful destination is being discovered by more and more families every year. Great winds and perfect temperatures make this stop a wonderful place for either a restful vacation or an all-out adventure vacation spot. Wind surfing is among the most popular activities in the region.

Overall, Mexico vacations are filled with many unique settings for families. Beaches, shopping, eco-tourism, historical adventures, or action sports all make Mexico an exciting place for most any family. And, each year there are more and more resorts and destinations that are being discovered by families who are searching for that perfect family vacation.
