FloridaThe Sunshine State, surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean, is one of the most popular destinations for sandy beaches, big cities teeming with entertainment, and popular theme parks.

The big cities of Florida attract visitors for shopping, nightlife, museums, and many other attractions. Jacksonville, the largest city, features Adventure Landing Jacksonville Beach with mini golfing and go-karts. Also check out the Shipwreck Island Water Park, where family members can challenge each other to a slide race or float down the lazy river. EcoMotion Tours offer fun Segway tours through town and the outskirts of Jacksonville to view scenery and wildlife. The Kids Kampus downtown is a 10-acre playground area with miniature Jacksonville landscapes to explore, a miniature water park, and a miniature wetlands replica that will keep the kids playing and laughing all day.

Miami holds abundant tropical attractions including swimming with dolphins, exploring the everglades, and fiesta cruises in the ocean. The Miami Seaquarium takes guests up close to see dolphins and other ocean creatures. The Everglades Alligator Farm allows guests to see Florida’s prehistoric natives: alligators, crocodiles, snakes, and many more reptiles. For those who love to learn, a visit to the Miami Children’s Museum combines fun with education to broaden every little guest’s imagination.

Florida beaches are among the most popular in the country. Each landscape is different, ranging from quiet and secluded to bustling and full of activity. Beaches include South Beach in Miami, Siesta Key Beach, Palm Beach, and many more. Universal Studios Orlando is a great destination for the family; it features two theme parks chock full of fun and excitement. The Universal Islands of Adventure has roller coasters that will keep everyone screaming, Universal Studios Florida immerses visitors into famous movies and how they’re made, and Wet ’n Wild will cool everyone down at the end of the day. Orlando is also home to Sea World and Walt Disney World, which houses the Magic Kingdom, the Animal Kingdom, and Epcot Center.

A visit to Florida just might be the key to relaxation, fun, and discovery for every visitor, young or old.
