Family cruise vacations have something for everyone.
Cruise vacations offer plenty for the whole family. It used to be that cruises were just for adults seeking a relaxing getaway from the everyday grind. Not anymore! Today, cruise vacations offer a wide variety of services and amenities for everyone in the family.
Let's start with mom. If mom is happy, everyone is happy! Cruise vacations offer luxurious spa treatments for those mothers looking to finally relax. From a facial treatment to a full-body mud wrap, mom can indulge and be pampered from head to toe and not break the bank.
Another favorite for moms is dancing. Almost every cruise ship offers dancing nightly either in a club setting or on the upper decks near the pool. Lively music and some pretty talented singers usually make for a great time. Let your hair down, because noone will care if you know how to dance or not.
As for dads, most cruise vacations include some type of sports bar or lounge that has a large-screen television or two. Hang out with new friends while watching your favorite team compete. Many cruises offer popcorn or other snacks nearby for your viewing pleasure.
How about the kids? Not too long ago, many cruise ships started to figure out that the kids needed somehting to do while on board. Today, nearly every cruise ship offers age-appropriate "clubs" where your childern can have fun with others their age. 
Most ships' children programs start with 3 year olds and go all the way through teens. Many ships, however, have started to offer childcare for little ones as young as 6 months! Though there may be an extra fee for the services, it is well worth it! Both Disney Cruise Lines and Royal Caribbean have (or will soon have) programs for 6 month old children.
